SCF Maintained Software
The SCF has been a primary testing site for some of the most important statistical packages now in use. It was the first primary test site for the 'S' statistical language, and a primary test site for the UNIX version of SAS. An undergraduate instructional language called BLSS, now in use at over 100 universities and colleges, was developed at the SCF. In current work interactive computer projects using animated graphics for instruction in lower division statistics courses are being developed in a project funded by the National Science Foundation.
The SCF supports software packages such as R, S, S+, SAS, NAG, MATLAB, Mathematica, and CART for research and graduate instruction.
