Whom to Contact - Faculty or Staff Advisor?
The Statistics Department has two advisors - one Faculty Advisor and one Staff Advisor. You can best utilize your time and the advisors' time by first referring to the advisor who can best help you with your specific question or issue. Please refer to the chart below to get a sense of which advisor can best assist you.

No Major Declarations during the first 2 weeks of the semester (January 17-27, 2012). Please schedule an appointment for January 30-February 3rd if you are eligible to declare.
STUDENTS EXPERIENCING ACADEMIC DIFFICULTY: Students in academic difficulty should contact me directly to schedule an appointment (510-643-6131, cco@stat.berkeley.edu). I am available most afternoons MTWF and mornings on Th for appointments. Do not come to drop-ins for this type of advising.
