Financial Support
Financial support for graduate students is provided in the form of fellowships, teaching assistantships, and research assistantships. All admitted students will receive support. There is no separate application for financial support.

Ph.D.s: Fees, Non-resident Tuition fellowship if needed, and research and teaching appointments
For a list of registration fees, please see the fee schedule on the Registrar's website under Graduate Academic. An estimated graduate student budget can be found on the Graduate Admissions website.
We encourage applicants to apply for fellowships from sources other than U.C. Berkeley. U.S. citizens and permanent residents are particularly encouraged to apply for the National Science Foundation (NSF) and the National Defense Science Engineering (NDSEG) fellowships.
