Christopher is a graduating Ph.D. student in Biostatistics at UC Berkeley. A Berkeley native, he attended College Preparatory in Oakland and received a BA in Mathematics from UCLA in December 1993. While in the doctoral program, Christopher earned a MA in Biostatistics, and expects to receive his Ph.D. in May 2001.

Christopher's outside interests include playing the piano and the guitar, snowboarding, playing golf and basketball, learning about new technologies, attending sports events and concerts and reading a wide variety of books. His parents are Douglas and Nakago Quale.
