Romain Neugebauer came to Berkeley from France, where he studied Biology and Mathematics in Paris and earned the Diplôme d'Ingénieur Agronome with a major in Biostatistics at Montpellier. He earned the Ph.D. in Biostatistics in 2004 after conducting his doctoral work at UC Berkeley under the mentorship of Mark van der Laan and Ira Tager. His dissertation focused on Causal Inference based on Marginal Structural Models. Romain currently pursues his research interests as an Assistant Researcher to Mark van der Laan and Ira Tager at UC Berkeley. In addition, he has collaborated with Kathleen Mortimer to design and teach an introductory course to marginal structural models. Romains CV is also available. |
