Yue is a Ph.D. candidate in Biostatistics. Before she came to Berkeley in 2001, she received her M.S. in Applied and Computational Mathematics from the University of Minnesota, Duluth in May 2001 and her B.Eng. in Automation from Tsinghua University, Beijing, China in July 1998, she also received a second B.A. degree in Chinese Literature and Language from Tsinghua University in July 1999. She is now doing her doctoral studies under the supervision of Dr. Mark van der Laan.
